It took me a while to come to your point of view. But this truly will boomerang on the left, even Politico is seeing it so. The more HRC lawyers on Mueller’s team, the better. And everyone knows a grand jury picked in DC will be hostile to Trump. Thus, the POTUS garners sympathy and stronger support.
