I'm a bit disturbed to find myself agreeing with her. What reasonable person would want the job? To open up your entire life to everyone's scrutiny, "Just Because"? To see pictures of yourself beheaded on the evening news? To have liberal "pundits" insult your wife and children on a daily basis, for no other reason than they disagree with you on a political point?

And, to be required to sit there, and take it, and grin, and do nothing about it?

No thanks. First late-night host that insulted Mrs Wbill, would be missing teeth. And that would be the end of my brief, but brilliant, political career.

Yep. there is an old Groucho Marx joke along the lines of “I’d never join a club that would allow someone like me to be a member.”

And with politics, “Never vote for a man that WANTS to be elected.”
