President Trump has had a rough week. On Tuesday, The New York Times reported that the president asked former FBI Director James Comey to drop the bureau's investigation of former national security advisor Michael Flynn's alleged ties with Russia. Then, on Wednesday, the Department of Justice appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller as a special counsel to take over the investigation of Russia's alleged meddling in the 2016 presidential election.
With his administration battered by constant scandal, the president is now facing growing talk of impeachment. Rep. Justin Amash, R-Mich., made headlines on Wednesday for likely being the first Republican on the Hill to broach the subject of impeachment publicly. The online wagering site PredictIt saw record bets this week from observers looking to cash in on Trump's removal from office.
I hate to rain on their parade, but impeaching a sitting president is a highly improbable event no matter how bad the scandals get. Moreover, removing a president from office has never been done before in United States history.
Anti-Trump partisans should get comfortable in their seats. We're likely in for four full years....

We need to put max pressure on the dems. If AG Sessions was doing his job we would already have several members of previous administration, including both Clintons, some RINOs, and pretty much the entire mainstream media facing charges of sedition and treason. What they have done and are continuing to do to harm not just our President but the security of our nation demands these charges. All we need to do now is get Sessions out from cowering under his bed long enough to do his job and we could have all of these traitors on the run instead of constantly getting away with spreading false information with the intent of harming President Trump and therefor endangering the lives of all Americans.
You keep posting the same drivel on every thread. Your sign up date is quite suspicious
Relax.
I have been here since 2005. I changed my sign-on recently, but I have been here a long time, and I have supported Trump since before he even declared his candidacy.
For real.
But those were the two issues I most supported him on.
And I for one, have not seen him really work on these two issues yet.
There were the biggest two issues, for me.
I am waiting Donald.
I am still (strongly) for you, but I do not want to continue selling out to China, and I do not want to continue importing ever more illegal aliens.
Those are my two biggest issues. Probably a lot of others also have those two issues at the top of their list.
I do not want you to back down on either of these two issues.
They are critical.
When Maxine Waters calls for impeachment when Trump has only been in office for a couple of months...
AND
When both the 8 years of Clinton and 8 years of Obama created more high crimes than any other Republican EVER...
AND
When there is no attempt by that party to even look into the MANY crimes of Clinton and Obama, then the demoncraps should just shut the hell up about Trump.
Look, the house has to vote for impeachment. And the Senate has to overwhelmingly vote for impeachment. Not going to happen. And if it did. The republican party is toast.
Illegals are down substantially since he took office. Enforcement by ICE has them scrambling to self deport. Funding for the wall is the fault of congress. What do you expect in the first four months? You strike me more as the date on your profile than a long timer. If you have some useful ideas on how to ram all of this through in the first six months, please share it. All so far has been negative bs
Although this story is largely pro Trump, this statement is a classic example of how Fake News is generated. Amash did NOT "broach" the subject. He was asked "IF the Times story is true", is impeachment possible. His non-negative answer to a fake news hypothetical is what led to this totally misleading statement. Yet, this has now become a "fact" in the Fake News Swamp.
Trump will come out stronger for all of this.
That is exactly how I see it. This unhinged obsession with removing Trump is beyond disappointment or even anger. This is real panic, a palpable fear that what has been hidden may now be exposed and rooted out. The Deep State and its networks are terrified that if they don't destroy Trump quickly, he will destroy them. They can't afford to wait until the next election.
Thus far, though, I have seen that China (on trade) and the democrats (and the GOPe, on the border) effectively appear to have completely derailed Trump on these two issues thus far.
They are the two most important, in my view.
Maybe I am being too critical, but those were my two big issues. American jobs, and the border.
I have supported Trump forever. I really have.
But he needs to take a much bigger profile, on these issues.
Jobs, and the border.
American presidents have been on the opposition side, forever. Both parties.
I thought Trump would be strong on these two issues.
Thus far, I have not seen that.
So, you were Zotted, eh?
“....So, you were Zotted, eh?.....”
Just an FYI: There was a bunch of long-term conservatives that were “zotted” on here way back in that time era by an admin (not Jim) because they wouldn’t kowtow to the exact Bush line to the letter. Most were very outspoken against Bush for the open borders thing and it got them zotted. Many felt it was unfair at the time but there was nothing that could be done. That doesn’t mean they were “libs in disguise” etc., and history has now proven them correct. They were staunch conservatives. Many of em came back under different names and many of em just never returned.
Nope.
Actually I moved overseas, and security being what it is here, I decided I did not want to use my existing login, so I created the new one.
Sort of like this one, though...
