Sanders might even have out-polled Mrs. Bill, maybe by millions but those votes would all have come from the places and the resulting EC vote would be little different.

Abraham Lincoln would have beaten Trump, but he didn’t run.

Look Marty, your corrupt party has paid the price for its deliberate lies and theft of the election from a righteous candidate. You have abandoned the people you claim to represent, and you have succumbed to the uglier side of human nature personified by the Clintons, of greed, of power, of the political destruction of innocents and the rape of young women. It was a divine punishment to have you lose by so few votes.

The Lord works in mysterious ways.

One thing about Sanders is that as Senator, he doesn’t have to deliver in an executive capacity (ditto with the equally execrable Patrick Leahy). They just have to vote and “rage against the system.”

Had either run and won for VT Governor before their present jobs, where one does have to deliver, both would’ve been such spectacular failures that neither would’ve made it to the Senate after the state got a belly-full of their Communist agenda.

Of course, millions of Conservatives would’ve sat out the election or voted third party again had Ohio’s Soros-puppet Pig Vomit been the GOP nominee.

Exhibit A is VT’s last Dem Gov, Peter Shumlin. He went full Marxist on health care, nearly got booted out of office in 2014, and the state promptly voted in a Republican to replace him even as it was voting for Hillary in 2016.

And the cats would have gotten out and voted for Bernie. After all, cats are only beholden to that which opens the can of tuna.

O’Malley is entirely right about Sanders.

Sanders polled well cause he wasn’t Hillary, once exposed to the spotlight I suspect he would have had a very tough time, America isn’t communist, not yet. Plus he looks like a homeless guy who stands outside the drug store asking for change. Charisma challenged.

O’Malley says he himself would won though. I don’t know about that, lightweight d-bag bungler, left office so unpopular that MARYLAND ELECTED A REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR to clean up after him.

Around 5 years ago IIRC I had him pegged as a probable nominee. LOL.

I was quite surprised myself that O’Malley’s candidacy bombed out so early on. He seemed like a decent compromise candidate (without giving up the ideological leftism) between the damaged Hillary and radical Bernie, but compromise was not what the Dems were looking for (notice the media never questions the Dems about their purism, radicalism, et al).

I was one of the few who stated straight up that O’Malley would be succeeded by a Republican (Larry Hogan, Jr.), but not because of O’Malley, but because MD Democrats put up his Lieutenant, who was a quintessential PG County Black pol (Anthony Brown, who now has the PG County seat in Congress). White MD Democrats were not going to put a PG County Black pol in the Governorship or in the Senate, either. That’s why I said that if Donna Edwards had been the nominee for the Senate, there was an excellent chance that the GOP would’ve won the seat. The White Dem establishment no doubt worked hard behind the scenes to make sure Edwards did NOT get that nomination, because they knew what I said was true.

Although not a PG County pol, had the execrable Communist racist Elijah Cummings gotten the Senate nod, I also believe the GOP would’ve won the seat.
