The Hill, reporting about the Times quote?
And we’re supposed to believe a single solitary character the times prints?
they are traitors and the enemy.
The Hill should be ashamed they are reporting on this garbage, true or not, the times needs to go to the dustbin of society.
In reading the article, he sounds like a conservative guy, and didn’t like Trump because of his crassness.

I tend to agree with Michael Medved on this one: Trump is the only candidate that can’t beat Trump and Trump is the only candidate that can’t beat Hillary.

Shouldn't it be "Trump is the only candidate that can (vice can't) beat Hillary?

Joe was born November 20, 1942. He will be 78 in 2020. Biden is part of the Dem youth movement.

His argument was basically that, though one of them “had to win”, they were each other’s kryptonite (my words here).

But that is not what you quoted Medved, i.e., Trump is the only candidate that can’t beat Hillary.

In any event, Medved was dead wrong. Trump was the only candidate who could have beat Hillary. None of the others stood a chance. Cruz came in second in the primaries and would have been destroyed in the general election. You can tick off each GOP candidate in the primary and see how difficult it would have been for them to beat Hillary. Trump's economic nationalism and immigration stance helped him connect with blue collar democrats in traditional Dem states like MI, WI, and PA.

“The whole nomination was rigged in her favor “

It was one of the most pathetic displays of favoritism that I have ever seen.

I think Cruz could have beat her, but we’ll never know. I’d have loved to see him debate her.

Remember when Biden met with Pocahontas at the naval observatory to discuss a possible run with her as his running mate? Even she turned him down LOL

I don’t think he would have beat Trump. Voters didn’t want a 3rd Obama term. It was smart for Biden to wait until 2020. By then he will have got some of the Obama stink off of him. Some of it.

Cruz would have been crucified by the MSM and the Dems. He would have been portrayed as a right wing extremist, religious zealot, and ineligible to be President. Cruz's support of increasing H-1B visas by 500% and globalist trade policies would have not captured the workers' vote or any Dems.

The role of debating skills is overrated when it comes to winning the Presidency. Trump related to people far better than Cruz or Hillary or Obama for that matter. Trump speaks in the vernacular. Cruz would never have won MI, WI, and PA.

I doubt Biden could have beaten any Republican. Half of democrats are so ill informed and stupid they didn’t even know he was VP. And....Trump would have campaigned entirely differently.

Have you seen the montage of Biden groping little children?

Dumb Bells like this is why the Republicans are doomed to stupidity.

Hmmmmm...may be. But at least the Republicans don’t have Slapsie Maxie Waters or Hank “Save Guam” Johnson.

Yes and instead of bashing nevertrumper douchebags like Sasse, Trump is bashing Freedom Caucus members like Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows & Raoul Labrador. If I am not mistaken, all of them actively supported Trump.

Pathetic.
