LOL!
If I get another fan, my fan club will double in size...
I’ve always loved the Doors. A friend of mine is a highly acclaimed mastering engineer in LA. We first connected on a business level when I assisted him with high-end audio equipment loans for a few of his re-mastering projects. He graciously included my business’ website on the album credits.
He has been very generous with providing CDR copies burned direct from the studio master tapes of albums by Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Elvis, Beach Boys and even the Beatles UK catalogue including studio demos and so many more. Two of the CDRs were the Doors first album and LA Woman - and all of the CDRs have great sound quality that exceed the commercial pressed CDs and some include the studio chatter and some are “dry” before the dreaded reverb was added.
Wow.
Lucky you.
I’ve loved them since I was about 14 or so.
[back when you had to hand-crank your Victrola]
Morrison has been an endless fascination.
[do you really think he’s “dead”?]
