THE WALL WILL PAY FOR ITSELF.
The estimated cost to complete the Border Wall is $15 to $25 billion.
If we have a trade deficit with Mexico, by all means, let’s address that inequity on its own merits, but with the legendary negotiating skills of Donald Trump, we can easily reduce that outrageous $60 billion deficit by half, and that, in itself, would go a long way to pay for the wall.
The annual costs of illegal immigration at the federal, state and local level is estimated to be about $113 billion. This figure includes education, medical, law enforcement and public assistance. The completed wall with associated personnel and technological support, assuming border patrol agents and ICE would finally be allowed (and are eager) to do their job, would easily reduce the annual cost of illegal immigration by half.
Then there’s the estimated $25 to $50 billion that illegals send home to Mexico that Trump could legally block!
These three items, alone, conservatively represent roughly $100 billion. President Trump could build three or four walls if it became necessary!!
Not included in the above: Cutting off federal funding to sanctuary cities would contribute a significant part of the cost of the wall. There are some 300 cities and municipalities that have adopted that “sanctuary” designation.
In addition to the financial cost of rampant illegal immigration, consider these appalling factors:
The numbers of crimes PER DAY committed by illegal aliens in just a few crime categories, based on Government Accountability Office statistics:
• Kidnappings: 9 x 365 = 3285 per year!
• Murders: 15 x 365 = 5475 per year!
• Sex offenses: 43 x 365 = 15,695 per year!
This does not include those killed and maimed by illegals in drunk driving accidents.
Let’s get real: The United States already has a more than adequate supply of home-grown murderers, rapists and other assorted bad guys. Why, in the name of sanity, would we want to go out of our way to import an unknown quantity of foreign-born miscreants, some of whom want to blow us up?!
Approximately fifty thousand Americans die from drug overdose EVERY YEAR!!
How much does drug trafficking cost us in law enforcement, property damage and lives that are destroyed by drug addiction? A secure southern border would have an enormous impact on the tons of readily available drugs on the streets of America.

I don’t think our drones and electronic surveillance equipment are sensitive enough to notice bulldozers and other heavy earth-moving equipment scurrying around constructing a hundred foot earthen ramp (that could probably be detected by satellite).
drones would have to armed, no ? unless we have 1900+ miles of wall manned, how do you stop ‘em ?

Unless they could build that ramp in a few hours, the drones could spot ‘em, inform the right agencies, and have swarms of guns, bombs and what-have-you in position to repel the invaders in more than enough time.
If we have the will (and I think President Trump has the will) we could “git ‘er done”, no problem.
