The Korean attitude is difficult to understand. They are entrepreneurial and ver conservative in their family structure, and also many are Christian. They seem to be a group that would benefit highly from a Trump administration. My wife’s family is Vietnamese and they are very conservative socially and politically.

I live in an upper-middle suburb of Boston. Pretty liberal. The only diversity is Northeast Asians-- of Korean or Northern Chinese extraction. I think there is tendency among these immigrant or first-generation Asian groups to emulate the social and political practices of the larger upper-middle class whites. It's understood your kids go to elite schools and you vote liberal. So it is a form of self-interest, but only in the immediate future. Not long term.

Interesting perspective Beach Patrol. I don’t know much about the Korean culture beyond Kimchi and bulgogi. The original Vietnamese “boat people” fled communism so have a tendency to avoid socialists, but I’ve definitely seen a change in the younger generations who have been educated in the western universities.
