That’s a different definition of literacy. Mine was much more generic. I believe the ‘problem’ with religion in the democrat party isn’t a lack of understanding of religion. You don’t have to be able to quote “chapter and verse” to realize that much of the democrat agenda is based upon a denial of a higher power and the concept that man and his desire is supreme. In that sense, the democrats know what the Bible says, ie, general literacy. They know the Bible says that much of what they want is wrong.
The article is based upon the theory that democrats can’t communicate with religious people because they can’t quote scripture. The real problem is the democrat message fundamentally opposed to religion.
