I said while the Stein recount was getting underway I was worried they would be stupid enough to start a war to keep Trump from taking office if the recount didn’t work.

I still think it’s a good possibility. Democrats have been pushing the “Russians did it” theme pretty hard.

At first, Putin probably wasn’t concerned. I may be wrong, but at some point they could go too far and get him pissed off enough to put a shot across our bow.

One of the fascinating things about nuclear nations is that the opportunity to go to far has always been there. This is why it has been so imperative in the past to make sure those with the ability were capable of handling the responsibility. But as the world has relaxed those standards and the people making those decisions changed in name and I feel in greed, that responsibility was breached, we ended up with a whole new breed of nuclear cowboys. But that happen=s when duel use technology sa breached.

Dual-use technology refers to the possibility of military use of civilian nuclear power technology. Many technologies and materials associated with the creation of a nuclear power program have a dual-use capability, in that several stages of the nuclear fuel cycle allow diversion of nuclear materials for nuclear weapons. When this happens a nuclear power program can become a route leading to the atomic bomb or a public annex to a secret bomb program. The crisis over Iran’s nuclear activities is a case in point. But that is a drop in the hat as there are currently 32 countries with reactors in operation. And amounts of them are also misleading. Russia, one of the big ones, has 34 reactors in operation with 9 in construction. But scary worse is Korea with 30 on the job. Jong can’t be trusted, but thanks to Clinton they are armed and can hit Hawaii.

Many UN and US agencies warn that building more nuclear reactors unavoidably increases nuclear proliferation risks. A fundamental goal for American and global security is to minimize the proliferation risks associated with the expansion of nuclear power. If this development is “poorly managed or efforts to contain risks are unsuccessful, the nuclear future will be dangerous”. And being just stupid has been on top of this lack of effort.
