Don’t these fools know that in the early republic legislators chose electors as opposed to public voting in most states? The whole idea from leftists is absurd that they’re meant to be free of conscience now when it evolved to be chose now from VOTERS in each state.
Exactly. Perhaps they would be comfortable returning to the old ways, letting the state legislators allocate electoral votes at their whim, without any public elections. By the way, there is nothing that prevents the state legislatures from returning to that technique (I think). In 2016, using that technique, Trump wins that way by an even bigger margin.
