A lot of ignorant comments here. There isn’t a better constitutionalist out there than Cruz.

Yes the RINO’s hate him and he would have a hard time getting confirmed. But if he was - he would poke the left in the eye for decades. Brilliantly.

Cruz apparently never read Pub.L. 82-414 § 301(a)(7), 66 Stat. 236 or Rogers v. Bellei, 401 U.S. 815 (1971)

I hate to burst your bubble but Cruz did a very mediocre job in his times arguing before the SCOTUS.
This is the record of all those cases. Cruz lost more than he won.
