The guys name was Austyn Crites. His sister (or cousin) is Alice Crites.

Alice Crites is a contributor to the story. Is she cia? And she said that her brother/cousin was in Nevada (and crazy) therefore might be useful?
I know this is farfetched, but what are the odds? It’s well known that the Washington Post is full of cia agents.
