It certainly smells like it. I think Honey Badger Trump sprang their trap early, after catching wind of it.

A freeper mentioned yesterday that the response was curiously uncoordinated - Sulzberger's Blog releasing the Kristof hitpiece early, for example.

Knowing journoblogger Kristof's seniority at the NY Times Blog, I think he must have claimed the right to "count coup" on Trump.

Don't count coup on a Honey Badger before it's dead, Nicky Kristof. :)
