During a fundraiser in New York City Friday evening, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton described half of the Americans supporting Donald Trump as a “basket of deplorables” made up of “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic” people.
“You know to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables,” she said as the crowd laughed and applauded. “They’re racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it.”

Who among us didn’t really know just how loathsome liberals think we really are? I’m not a bit surprised at what she said. Will it hurt her? I have my doubts, after all, 0bama spoke about the “bitter clingers” and it didn’t hurt him any. Truth be known, almost everyone in the media feels and probably says exactly what Clinton said, and probably thinks and says even worse than that.

I think we are seeing the real and desperate Hillary coming out, the one we have known she is all along. If Trump is on track to get even 40 million votes, she just offended 20 million people. How does her motto “Stronger Together” jive with this?? The media has said this is Trump’s election to lose. No it is Hillary’s and she has lost it and she knows it. There is no moving to the middle now for her. Her handlers and donors have cashed her into a corner. And here come the claws.

The fact that she has to throw this kind of red meat out there means she doesn’t even have her base wrapped up. That’s the only group rhetoric like this would appeal to.

Unfortunately I pretty much agree. At best, it shows her as unlikeable, but this won’t knock her out. Reminds me of “bitter clingers” more than 47% actually.
