I don’t get it.

According to the left, if you are Hispanic and you worked hard to qualify to immigrate into the US, learned English, met all of the requirements—you are supposed to be angry at Republicans who want to stamp out illegal entry by unskilled unqualified gold diggers.

Why do so many Hispanics (and other minorities) fall right into the liberal group think trap? According to the left, no one is ever supposed to think independently. If you belong to group X, then you automatically must think A, B, and C, no deviation allowed. When will people throw off the liberal shackles?

The left lumps everyone who is Hispanic into one group. The only thing they have in common is Spanish ancestry and language. There are Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Cubans, etc., plus latin countries have rather stratified class systems. An unskilled barely literate illegal alien from Mexico has a different perspective than a university graduate from Mexico city. Furthermore there are lots of 3rd, 4th, or more generations removed from immigrating to the US. There are quite a few of them where I live, and many vote Republican.
