He has mischaracterized what Trump has said, in a way that Ted Cruz or his girlfriends on TV might do. I am not happy that he is being a little softer on illegals than he was, but he is not saying they will get amnesty or citizenship. Any other Republican of the 17 running was WORSE on the issue, including Ted Cruz.
I really don’t care if it is perceived that Trump is softening. Following the current law is a good enough start for me. Along with enforcing the border.
The rest are just details. Let’s win the election.
