Trump needs to pivot to the economy, energy, and state’s rights issues. I’m glad he’s talking about the abysmal failure of the Democrooks at exploiting the black vote, but he’s overdoing it. Give blacks an option to either crap or get off the pot, and to be Americans rather than clinging to this fairy-tale that they should have their own subset “African” culture when no black person alive today has nothing in common with Africa.
I can remember but a few very short periods that I was without a job. Nobody ever told me I had to work. Figured that out myself. I like my lifestyle, which can’t be supported on the public tit and I’ve never considered selling drugs....... again, my lifestyle doesn’t work in jail. So I’ve worked my entire life.
There are two things absent in my lily white, upscale neighborhood; Crime and cops.
Blacks are responsible for their condition, not me.
Neighborhood safety, local economy and schools are what matters to most, if not all, residents who live in the worst parts of either the south or west side of Chicago. I highly doubt they have the Constitution in mind when just trying to survive every day can take an effort. Most will care about energy only as it relates to gas prices. As far as economy goes, they want to see jobs in their neighborhoods. The only way that happens is to convince business owners that the neighborhood is safe and will not get robbed and/or shot.
They want safe neighborhoods, vacant buildings buzzing with business activity, and their children attending good schools. Trump is not overdoing anything. He is doing what other GOP candidates should have done a long time ago by going in to the inner cities and courting the black vote.
Restore law and order, prop up the economy and give children school vouchers and Trump will win at least 20% of the black vote. He does that and he will the White House in a landslide.
Nope. economy and states rights issues people already are voting for him. While feeling good about speaking to people who agree with you already is nice, Trump knows better. Speak to states rights voters gain 0 votes (Which is moving backwards). Speak to 100 inner city blacks and get 20 votes.
He’s not preaching to the choir. Good on him: if we do what we’ve always done, we’ll get what we’ve always gotten.
