Gov. John Bel Edwards was forced to eat his own words when GOP nominee Donald Trump showed up in Baton Rouge today to donate and hand-out supplies for Louisiana flooding victims.

"Hand-out" is a noun.

Unh-unh. Sorry. hand-out with a hyphen is a noun. As in, "He came into the room with the hand-out supplies he had brought with him." Not a good noun or a strong noun.

"He came to hand out supplies" [without the hyphen] would be the verbal form.
