What does “work for the American people” mean?
She misspoke.
She meant to say, “To work OVER the American people.”
Same thing it meant when Bill said he had to “get back to work for the American people” after denying he had sex with “that woman.” It’s fall-back Democrat BS.
It's what the Clintons trot out when us mean-old right-wing conspirators accuse them of something.
