Too much bad blood for that.
Even most conservatives didn’t want Cruz. Imagine how the moderates and independents would view him. He’s a terrible choice.
I don’t expect it to happen, but it wouldn’t be that much different from JFK picking LBJ, or Reagan picking GHWB.
Some ideas are just too idiotic for serious discussion.
My guess is that Ted is too sensitive for that to happen. If he had been a gracious loser, it might have worked, but he’s way too much of a sore loser to take the long view.
Cruz fails the assassination insurance test. The Deep State would love to have someone like Cruz as President.
Why would anyone think Trump would pick Cruz who is
1. Not eligible
2. A globalist
3. A dishonorable, liar
4. IMO, a threat to Trump’s safety
Newt ( work with congress and pretty good delivery on his contract with America). Michelle Bachman always intrigued me as having a lot to offer. Dr Carson maybe?? (add someone who has voted appeal and doesn’t raise GOP-E or ineligibility problems...?)
I didn’t know Canada had a Vice-President!
NEVER!!!!! Cruz is a back-stabbing, sneaky politician. I would not trust him.
Since being born in the US doesn't matter...
There are several Cruz delegates from Arizona who claim they will be voting for him on the first ballot, even though Trump won the AZ primary and they signed the pledge to vote for him.
I blame Cruz for not supporting Trump. If he truly cares about the country, he needs to get over petty resentments. It’s not about Ted Cruz; it’s about saving the country.
The guy Trump called “Lyin’ Ted” a thousand times as his VP? NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.
he’s not a likable person.. he’ll never be President so stop trying to push this guy
1) If Trump wins the presidency, he will reshape the GOP. Cruz will be left on the outside looking in.
2) If Trump loses, the GOP establishment will retake the controls of the Republican party, and reshape the rules to ensure an outsider like Trump or Cruz can never win the nomination again (probably by following the Democrat practice of super-delegates). Cruz, again, will be left on the outside looking in.
Cruz's presidential hopes are over.
2DV, I am in favor of it PROVIDED: Cruz TOTALLY DISAVOWS TPP, NAFTA, CAFTA, the WTO etc., and comes out in favor of strictly bilateral trade negotiations with countries we like (like the U.K.)
He must state that the trade imbalances and job hemorrhaging are so dire that Tariffs may be in order for at least some period of time.
He must say that he is for an AMERICA-FIRST foreign and trade policy in every particular.
Otherwise, NO DEAL.
(I’m thinking he needs to URINATE ON THESE TREATIES on the steps of the Capital to show his sincerity . . . but maybe that’s asking a bit much.)
I’d say this one is a bit soft in the head - the guy who can’t/won’t endorse the ‘nominee’ is going to be chosen as his VP? Bwhahahah, that’s a good laugh for the day!
Btw, the never trump band of morons keep flooding twitter with the nonstory of the ‘star’. These people are freakin hilarious! I’m watching to see which of them jumps on the ‘America was never great’ meme, somehow I don’t put it past the Becks/Thors of the cabal.
I don’t think Trump wants or needs an unabashed Globalist in his Administration.....Cruz is a non starter despite Cruzers enthusiasm.
Note that globalists are faux conservatives. They have that same “hive” mentality that infects socialists/Communists... They are the Borg that can’t assimilate me nor, I hope, our nation!
Not to be confused with Alice Cooper.
