The willingness of progressive Democrats to fight for every political yard with the tenacity of a Spartan warrior marks a stark contrast between the two political parties.
Democrat politicians plow through the Republican lines wielding their political swords on every agenda item, mowing their opposition down with sheer ruthlessness and a winner=take=all attitude regardless of the facts or truth. Far too often, Republicans cower at the sight of Democrat fighters and throw down their weapons even though they hold the principled high ground and Congress.
Recently, in the face of the worse terrorist attack in the U.S. since 9/11, Democrats protested on the floor of the House of Representatives successfully shifting the political debate from terrorism and Obamas failure to address ISIS to guns.
Despite the ridiculousness of their antics and their embarrassing stunt, House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., (F, 55%) surrendered announcing he will allow a vote on gun control after the 4th of July break.
But perhaps the Democrats viciousness and deviousness are most apparent when it comes to fighting over global warming.
Democrats are increasing the intensity of their assault against those that dont believe in man-made global warming as problems in the Lefts wild global warming predictions mount and fail the test of reality.
The coordination of the political and advocacy effort to ram global warming policy is remarkable. In an effort to silence opposition, 17 attorneys general announced they are joining hands to investigate possible fraud by energy giant ExxonMobil regarding global warming.
The AGs blame ExxonMobil for being part of a misinformation campaign on global warming and they are seeking proof that the company knowingly mislead the public and investors about the way emissions from fossil fuels contribute to a warming earth.
On the surface, the media and the public viewed a press conference with high-minded participants lead by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, a group of AG colleagues and former Vice President Al Gore as they all engaged in a noble effort to save the world from abhorrent corporate behavior.
But what was not apparent and hidden was the behind the scenes coordination among the various special interest groups that orchestrated the AGs' action.
Work by the Energy & Environment Legal Institute (E&E Legal) unearthed documents disclosing the coordination among AG offices and environmental activist groups through open records laws.
Writing in FoxNews.com, Chris Horner described the documents he uncovered.
The emails reveal the AGs were actors playing out a script written by Matt Pawa, an environment lawyer for the Climate Accountability Project and Peter Frumhoff, Director of Science and Policy for the Union of Concerned Scientists, both of which were pushing the fraud lawsuit idea since 2012. Both individuals also briefed the state attorneys general before the press conference.
The conservative agenda cant possibly win unless Republicans and conservative activists are willing to engage in hand to hand combat with Democrat forces with equal intensity.
According to the document discovery, Pawa was advised by the head of the New York Attorney Generals Environmental Protection Bureau to avoid telling a reporter about the briefing.
In a subsequent Foxnews.com opinion piece, Horner adds the AGs sought to hide their global warming coordination effort from state records laws via a Common Interest Agreement (CIA).
The conservative agenda cant possibly win unless Republicans and conservative activists are willing to engage in hand to hand combat with Democrat forces with equal intensity.
There is, however, a glimmer of hope that the Right is willing to hit back.
Attorneys general from 13 states challenged the assault of ExxonMobil in an open letter criticizing the liberal AGs for wanting to resolve a public policy debate through the power of subpoena is a grave mistake.
Cleverly, the 13 AGs noted that two can play the investigative fraud game.
The AG letter states if ExxonMobil can be investigated for minimizing global warming risks, then fraud cases could be brought against renewable energy companies and allies such as venture capital company Kleiner Perkins, where Al Gore is a partner, that profit from exaggerating global warming risks.
As outlined by the AGs, renewable energy company Solar City should disclose the risk of a lack of global warming to investors because the companys future depends on a warming climate.
The real conspiracy to mislead the public is with the left-wing AGs and the Al Gore the sky is falling crowd and not ExxonMobil.
The good news is Schneidermans scheme is falling apart. US Virgin Islands Attorney General Claude Walker withdrew his subpoena of ExxonMobil and from the Competitive Enterprise Institute - a free-market public policy group.
According to the New York Post, some of the AGs that participated in the Schneiderman press conference are not following through with the barrage of subpoenas showing the New York AGs effort is falling apart.
Oh, the irony. The real conspiracy to mislead the public is with the left-wing AGs and the Al Gore the sky is falling crowd and not ExxonMobil.
Whats needed now is a fraud case filed against the global warming exaggeration complex which would stick a spear in the heart of the left-wing attack on our liberty.
We’re heading for a record low maximum temp here in Indiana today.....
I loved this. Thank you for posting it!
Or at least break a fingernail.
There is no spear that can thrust to the heart of the left short of mass incarceration incommunicado or exile to a desert island with constant naval patrol roundabout.
I hate to sound insensitive; but might I suggest gas chambers and large pits dug in the Nevada desert?
Needless to say; I do so despise the GOREBULL WARMING CLUB.
My neighbor put up a huge solar array on his house. First allowed in our gated community. (His wife has a 6 foot statue of Obama in the living room and they are “going green to save the earth). I planted a maple tree, that when fully grown will easily shade the new solar panel. “Why did you plant that tree?” Because I’m going green too!
Large pits.

Either very large pits or crematoria, take your pick.
The pits cause less air pollution.
Pawa and Frumhoff - two more names for The List. Mark them well
