You can claim that we need a paradigm shift in politics which emphasizes issues that are not traditionally focused on.

You can claim that we need to focus on nationalism, patriotism and sovereignty before all else.

You can say protection of American heritage and security is more important than any other issue.

You can say a lot of things in defense of Trump but you simply cannot say he is “further to the right” than Ted Cruz.

From abortion to guns to religious liberty to the Constitution to Austrian economics to individual liberties to the role of government in citizens lives...Cruz is light years more “conservative” than Trump and has demonstrated this time and time again.

I can link to articles demonstrating Trumps historical weakness in each of these areas if you would like references.

I will support him. I will vote for him. By focusing on the things that he has championed, he may ultimately do more good for the U.S. than Cruz could have done. But I will not say something as ridiculous as Trump is farther to the right than Cruz.

I very well know both Trump’s and Cruz’s positions, past and present.

I was one of cRuz’s biggest supporters...here, and with my time and money.

What cRuz has done in the last several months....from basically parroting everything Trump says, to the dirty tricks he played in IA and with the delegates, since, to saddling up with ¡Jeb! and Bush donors, to accusing Trump’s ‘tone’ as the cause of the Chicago rally violence....and, finally, to refusing to endorse Trump and release his delegates to Trump....he has literally wiped out EVERY ‘conservative’ attribute he may have ever/never had.

I overlooked his wife’s GS connections, initially, but now...after reading more about her involvement with the CFA, I don’t trust her, either.

Like I said, I once had respect for and supported my Senator cRuz. Not anymore. I’ll work as hard to vote against him, in his Senate run, as I did to get him there.

Trump has done MORE for the conservative cause than ANY so called conservative or Republican has done, in at least two decades.

Defend cRuz all you want. HIS own record does otherwise.

Trump is, and has always been, a patriot. He is the ONLY candidate who grasps now, and has affirmed for decades, that the issue is putting America first. Until Trump entered the race, no one was talking about our lost sovereignty. But, as Trump says, without sovereignty you don’t even have a country. Trump alone pointed out that the political class, conservatives included, sold our country out to foreign/globalist interests. Trump alone promised to ignore the vast flow of dollars that are paid to politicians to keep them selling out the USA; Trump alone promised to operate solely on America’s best interests. He’s the only one whose conservatism means conserving the country itself.

Trump does not have a decades’ long record of holding strict conservative positions. Yet he is unique in his attempt to save the country’s very existence. He grasps the Big Picture, and is the only candidate who does.
