Pressure for one last attempt to dump Donald Trump built among Republicans on Sunday, as the party’s leader appeared to encourage a possible revolt that could still see an alternative nominee chosen at next month’s national convention.
After a week in which the presumptive nominee appalled many colleagues with his reaction to a shooting massacre in Orlando, House speaker Paul Ryan made clear he would not try to obstruct any rebellion against Trump by delegates in Cleveland.
“They write the rules, they make the decisions,” he told NBC’s Meet the Press. “All I want to make sure is to make sure it is done above board, clearly, honestly and by the rules.”
As the highest-ranking Republican in Congress, Ryan will serve as chairman of the party’s convention in late July, when delegates won through primaries formally elect a nominee....

This should be the last straw for Trump.....cut his azz & replace him at the convention. The punk is never going to stop his ankle biting. Do it in his home state & tell the voters to dump him in August.
I’m leaving the door open for the people in his district to Cantorize his weasel butt out of office before he does any more damage.

Ryan’s first district was won by DJT. His opponent has been endorsed by Sarah Palin. Does he see the writing on the wall and is just trying to do as much damage as he can before he is removed?
His wife was a democrat lobbyist. Pictures of him with the same Saudi prince who is reported to have paid for 20% of Hillary’s campaigns makes one question his true loyalties

Ryan has crossed the line as far as I’m concerned. The inside the beltway GOP don’t seem to get it. We don’t want more little Meccas in the US.
Is Ryan actually so out of touch with American citizens that he fails to understand that the millions of Americans who voted for Trump did so because they believed that it was Ryan, Romney, McConnell, Boehner, and other Republicans who had betrayed conservatism?
I understand his only real job was driving the weinermobile but now he is somehow a multimillionaire on the pay of a “public servant” Do he and his lobbyist wife have something similar going to the Clinton’s “foundation” (bribe collecting vehicle).

Not so sure that is totally far fetched. Almost everyone going into Congress comes out way richer than they went in.

They must have FBI files on him, gave him a call in the middle of the night threatening to release some past indiscretion if he did not do what he is doing.
Being afraid of his FBI file is the only thing that makes sense for his actions.
