Ryan managed to catch Trump’ s attention did he not? You are part of a small fraction of the Americans who have voted in primaries this year. Why do you think you are in the majority?
Like I said 2/3 of Republicans feel betrayed by the leadership of the party. The elites and their supporters are a very small minority of the party. Meanwhile Trump was getting over 50 percent before Cruz dropped out and has already gotten more actual votes than any other Republican nominee has ever gotten. It’s going to be a choice between Trump and Hillary. I think Trump is the greatest natural politician of my lifetime, and Hillary is maybe the worst. By the time Trump is done with her it will be a landslide, unless she gets indicted or has an aneurism first. Reagan went through this crap too, and the elites even ran a third party candidate against him. The result will be the same.
As for getting Trump’s attention, he was going to meet with the leadership anyway. Giving Ryan some kind of credit for that is like crediting the rooster for making the sun come up.
