Not sure I agree with that analogy. I liken it more to him just being voted chairman of the board of directors of McDOnalds and he wants to change the menu because the company is failing and people want a menu change but the franchise owners are stuck in their old ways.
That is not correct either. Like it or not, it is the party, or rather the 50 state parties who are allowing him to use their brand-name. I am not one of those who think that party leader should now be talking of schism.
