I don’t believe he will really consider Cruz for VP. He’s going to want to “good cop / bad cop” congress to push legislation. I really like Cruz. But congress hates him. There’s no room for two “bad cops” in the White House. You’re not going to be able to whip votes by sending over a guy that isn’t even liked by his own party. While Trump is using the bully pulpit and taking the message directly to the American people, he’s going to have a “sausage maker” down on the hill working to win congress over.

He’s going to pick someone that probably won’t make a lot of us happy. I’m guessing Rubio or Kasich. I suppose Gingrich isn’t out of the equation, I’d like it, but it’s a longshot imho.

It’s going to be an insider. And it’s probably going to be a moderate. That’s politics.

They are throwing out a lot of names of people who would not be caught dead on the same stage with Trump. I understand that even Rick Scott has taken himself out of the contention. Trumps problem is that he is so far behind in the polls that no one is interested in the job. At least no one who would add anything to his campaign.

I’d prefer Cruz not be near any levers of power for another five or ten years - he needs to mature a little. I can see him as an effective Solicitor General - shorter leash, less opportunity to undermine Trump’s agenda, and an occasion to learn to be a team player.

The North American Union and Goldman Sachs alliances are too troubling for him to be the AG, especially given the composition of the staff in that office and their propensity for extraconstitutional regulation.

Cruz will be able to resurrect and improve his reputation by participating in the high profile cases which will result from the Trump agenda. (You know the libs won’t give up easily.)

Who knows, maybe even SCOTUS in a few years - but, I see that nomination not getting through the Senate easily right now. He has some serious fence-mending to do.

LOL....Trump would make cRuz unseal all of his records, first, before considering seriously.

That would be the end of that.

Art of the Deal.

Bwahahahaha.

No. Cruz is not a natural born citizen. He’s not eligible for Prez or VP.

I would think it politic and strategic to “think on” and “consider” just about anybody when it’s still Job #1 to defeat Hillary. There’s this organ between my ears that’s real handy for thinking and considering, as an alternative to jumping to conclusions. I’ve long suspected Trump makes similar use of that mysterious gland ;)

Me personally, I’d much rather see Cruz on the Supreme Court. The damage he’d do to the leftist agenda would last a generation.

I believe Trump should keep quiet about his choices till after he’s in as the news media would hit him hard on any right leaning Justice claiming that makes him unelectable.

Now the FlimFlam man would pick a liar for VP? What a con artist this POS is.

Calling Senator Cruz a liar and dragging his good name through the dirt and now do a 180.

You tRump supporters have chosen a real race ass for us to vote for. He says he wants to unite the party in one breath and next breath if you do not support him you can just stay home the next 8 years.

Yeah fine dictator here.

"It’s something we can think about.”

Geez, when will people "get" Trump????

Translation: NO.

He ALWAYS says stuff like "we'll look at it," "we'll do something," "we'll think about that" as verbal tap-dance, a way to avoid answering the question. And when he avoids answering the question, it means he's NOT INTERESTED.

I don’t think this is a good idea. I don’t think Cruz can attract that many crossover voters. I think Trump needs to get a governor from one of the swing states.

Cannot accept him as VP..maybe some other post like Supreme Court.
I WOULD have held my nose and voted for him if he had won, though.
We MUST get a republican back in the executive position.
We MUST.

Everyone must put aside their anger and get out and VOTE.
Make this the biggest Republican voter turn out in history.
We must keep the criminal Clintons out- or else it’s a third term for Obama.

.

I saw the interview and don’t recall an explicit mention of Cruz for VP.
