That's the problem with pardons. They fly in the face of equal treatment under the law.
IMHO, the Founders made a mistake by giving the President the king-like power of issuing pardons. At a minimum, the Senate should be able to veto a Presidential pardon, perhaps by a 2/3 vote.
Agree. Of course a pardon would kill her chances of being the nominee or being elected depending upon when it was given.
