Cruz said he wants to see people’s hearts and minds changed on the issue. He argued laws should be changed at the state level, not through judicial decisions.

In other words, he’s not going to do anything.

No exceptions for incest or rape or the rare case of mothers life?

Yet he piled on Trump being controversial when Trump logically stated if abortion was illegal it would seem fitting there some sort of punishment for the woman who kills her baby

And the world exploded....the same so called pro life professionals who most of them hate Trump anyhow unloaded on him at the very same time they proclaim abortion is murder

Yet for this murder no punishment

And Cruz piled on like he does even if it contradicts his image if he thinks it scores points with the media

This is why I don’t like him....he’s just another politician running better conservative and Christian self aggrandizement

All this serves one purpose and it’s to stop Trump

That is why Cruz is still in the race....he would have to almost skunk Trump from here on out....ain’t happening

He thinks by helping the world stop Trump he gets something

Maybe he’s already made his deal

It ain’t gonna be delegates

One cannot ban abortion any more than one can ban murder.

One can however, clearly prosecute all forms of abortion, just like one prosecutes all types of murder.

Oh, BTW, since abortion is murder, they are synonymous.

“[Cruz] argued laws should be changed at the state level”

Lying Ted is at it again. Every time a state tries to stop abortion, every time, the courts knock the effort down.

He is aware of that. He knows that line is futile and is his substitute for just dismissing the topic.

Could he be considered as pandering over the murder of babies?

Lots and lots of words to explain a very simple concept. Typical Cruz. Typical politician. Just....typical....

We have the most vulnerable Democrat candidate in decades running, and this is all we can come up with. We are going to find a way to lose this election no matter what!

"He argued laws should be changed at the state level, not through judicial decisions."

Cruz is consistently pro-Constitution. It is sacred text to him.

Trump has never attacked the motives of ordinary women.

He just trash talks people like Goldman Sachs bankers, Megyn Kelly and Rosie.

Cruz gets excited when megyn giggles at his anti trump jokes.

Both Fiorina and Walker—who endorsed Cruz and were at this event—support the abortion “exceptions” (rape, health of mother.)

I’m confused...

I’m sure Cruz thinks that abortion is murder. Yet he says that the person (the mother) who deliberately takes her child to be murdered is the victim?

This is unbelievably tortured logic. It’s called having the cake and eating it too.

No President can change law (except Obama and due to the inaction of congress).
Since abortion was legalized because of Roe v Wade, and Roe v Wade was a lie, shouldn’t the law be overturned?

Teddy....what do you mean no exceptions?

Per you it’s perfectly legal for a woman to abort a child at any point in the pregnancy from the first moment to the last moment ......

she just can’t have anybody help her but she can self-abort at any time ...

after all if there’s no punishment for her to abort it’s no crime for her to abort

But don't punish the women who have the abortions!

It isn't their fault they want to kill their babies.

Cruz doesn't favor exceptions to allow abortion in cases of rape or incest

Well, once again this issue, which is first not a Federal issue and second not a Federal Executive issue threatens to drag the poor, stupid Republicans underwater in a year they should be doing well.

I watched the Kelly/Cruz program of the town hall.

Kelly asked if he didn’t agree that Roe v. Wade was settled law. Cruz set snarky Megyn straight by saying no, because 5 lawyers/unelected judges can not make laws.

He said that laws regarding abortion and exceptions should be decided by the States because the Constitution doesn’t give that right to the Federal gov’t.

Megyn had a shocked look on her face. I seen her several times over the last few years stating, as though she is an authority, that SCOTUS decisions are “settled law”, when they are never “law”.
