If we could all at least agree on that, then maybe there would be less suspicion and hostility between the 2 sides.

I think that most people secretly agree, but nobody wants to say so because they think it will weaken their side.

Frankly, having all of these Trump supporters threatening to bolt makes me even more convinced that I want to vote for Cruz. I suspect that their screaming like this is going to wind up turning a lot of people off in the coming primaries.

I was supporting Cruz anyway, but what I've seen from the Trump campaign and his supporters over the last week has made me feel less sympathetic to his arguments about how things should go if he were just a few delegates short. At this point if Trump doesn't have the requisite delegates, then too bad. If he can't win on the first ballot, I am fine with Cruz winning on the 2nd or 3rd (which is exactly what would likely happen).

Either way though, I am going to vote in the general election for either Cruz or Trump. I very much dislike Trump and think he'd get clobbered in the general election, but I would still vote for him if he is the nominee.
