This always bears repeating: Haven’t you noticed that no weapon formed against Donald Trump has prospered? Why would that be?

Isaiah 54
17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.

Nelson, Thomas (2009-02-18). Holy Bible, New King James Version (NKJV) (p. 717). Thomas Nelson. Kindle Edition.

Every time Donald Trump says, “I love you!” to a crowd, I am reminded when Jesus said:
John 13
34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
35 “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Nelson, Thomas (2009-02-18). Holy Bible, New King James Version (NKJV) (p. 1047). Thomas Nelson. Kindle Edition.

“...Cox said the change will reward grassroots supporters, rather than allowing candidates to appoint their own friends and family as delegates.

“You get sisters, cousins, aunts and people who never did anything for the party, and they just want to sign up anyone who hasn’t done anything,” Cox said of the previous delegate system. “Now this is a party-building thing, and this gets them involved in the political process.”...”
**********************************************************************************

Makes sense. Concerned campaigns need to get busy to insure they have input on this.

Here comes Hillary Clinton. There goes the Senate and maybe the House along with the Supreme Court.

This should actually help Trump since there’s no way the New York GOP would select delegates loyal to Cruz.

The New York Republican State Committee approved the rules change last year, marking the first time in decades that GOP presidential candidates won't be allowed to select their own delegates from the Empire State.

I'm curious. Are there any other states that don't allow the candidates to pick their delegates?

Helping Hillary all the way through the general is the gope’s last hope of stopping Trump. In chess this is called helpmate, where you help your opponent checkmate you.

Just an extra layer of protection to make sure the voters don’t actually get to decide who to vote for. What a corrupt bunch. No wonder they are selling out the country.

Worrisome that we have one guy (attacked from all sides) who has stated the intent to take out the other side of the aisle. Then we have a candidate and those who need him, pulling to take down the candidate who intends to take down the other side of the aisle. No good will come of this.

I would still vote Cruz if he "won" the nomination, but I doubt that he will be as popular to the Nation-at-Large as he is to his true base of hard core conservatives. We use our own beliefs as the touchstone and expect that the rest of the Nation will go along because it's "the only sensible thing to do" despite the evidence that Cruz only appeals to a relatively small section of voters, leaving the rest in the up in the air/undecided mode which never seems to go our way in the General Election.
