Maybe so...here’s what I’ve got per RCP...Trump has 673 out of a total 1,417 awarded to date, or 47.5%. There are 1,055 left to be awarded. Out of that he would need 564 delegates or 53.5%. If I’m wrong I’m wrong...but I go with what I got at the time...

The front of the schedule was loaded with proportional states. Now we are into the higher percentage of winner take all. New Jersey, NY, MD, PA will go almost entirely for Trump. Cruz will win Utah, but lose AZ. CA has Trump ahead again.

Cruz lost the south - completely - except TX. He has no path to the nomination.

It depends upon where you are getting your stats. According to Green Papers, after last night 1489 delegates have been awarded, for 60.23% of the total. Also, you have to keep in mind that several of the upcoming primaries are basically beauty contests, and the delegates will go the convention unpledged (ND, CO, WY, American Samoa, and 54 delegates from PA). That leaves only 855 pledged delegates available, meaning Trump would need to get 66% of the remaining pledged delegates to be sure he won on the first ballot.
