No otherwise.
No. Trump attracts supporters from all groups, even dems and independents. He’s on fire.
If the little Marco had not waited as long as he did to quit, it would be a two man horse-race, with Cruz likely on top.
The way it now is, Trump appears the best man at the party.
Good luck with all that. Miracles do happen now and again.
Cliff Notes version: No.
If Ted trully is an outsider, and trully wants to get rid of the cabal in DC, he should withdraw & endorse Trump.
Don’t count SD for Cruz so fast. A lot of Evangelicals could not hold their nose and vote for the establishment neocons McCain or Romney. And the word here is that Cruz is not the front runner for evangelicals here either. He is too far right.
SD is no a red state anymore, it hasn’t been for a long time, its gone full blown purple so unless the Republican party starts moving back to the center of the far right, its liable to go full blue sooner rather than later.
Pass? I remember an immaculate pass. Bradshaw to Fuqua off Tatum to Harris. Miracles do happen.
No.
No.
Yesterday (Tuesday) Kasich won more delegates than Cruz, who lost all primaries. Cruz has no path to nomination. GOPe is never going to help Cruz in an open convention, they will anoint Jeb Bush everyday over Cruz.
No he cannot. But that’s not the ultimate question. Can Trump get to 1,237? Don’t think it is likely that this happens either. Looks like a contested convention to me.
Why do I say that? So far Trump has received about 47% of the delegates. He would need to get almost 54% of the remaining delegates. The history says that will not happen.
Had Rubio dropped out two weeks ago it would absolutely be a contested convention. Now it only appears likely...FWIW.
interesting article.
I wonder why Rush was so sure today that Trump would never get to 1237, with so many states left?
I have see some detailed projections that showed that Trump will get the necessary 12xx+ delegates before the convention, so there won’t be a contested convention. Unfortunately I didn’t save the link right away and could not find it again.
You sure solicit a lot of vitriol when you mention Cruz.
These Trumpites or Trumptons or Trumpbots are all one sided in viewing things.
They cannot be convinced.
Reminds me of the true believers following Bernie.
Rule 40 will be hard for Cruz to meet.
Trump already has.
Trump is going to get 1300 plus delegates....UNLESS he doesn’t want to.....unless he cuts a deal to make the Convention Brokered....just because he would like to turn it into the Greatest Show on Earth. Man what a show that would be. Everybody makes money on it, Trump would be on the TV...25/8 ...YEP THEY’D ADD MORE HOURS TO THE DAY AND DAYS TO THE WEEKS TO GET MORE COVERAGE.
After reading this, my head is spinning. Let me see If I get it. If it snows in Santa Fe on the 16th and 3 delegates from Arizona call 2 delegates from Nevada, and Walmart stops carrying daisy red riders and the band Journey tours with Night Ranger every other 2nd Tuesdays in towns that end in “ville”, then cruz can win. Far-fetched? Absolutely. But not as far-fetched as what you posted.
