If memory serves me correctly, when Rubio was in the FL legislature in some high and lofty position, didn't he try to get ILLEGAL IMMIGRAANTS all kinds of rights and benefits, including voting?

But the absolute, and sad, downfall of Ted Cruz came at his own hands while those hands were being held up (see story of Aaron and Moses) by Glenn Beck. After winning impressively in Iowa, he went from Ted Cruz, a conservative with a better than even chance to win, to Cruz the televangelist. I admire Ted Cruz's witness for Jesus Christ and I agree we certainly need someone in the Oval office who knows how to earnestly pray for wisdom. But Cruz started quoting scripture which this society does not view favorably. They hate being confronted with their sins and WILL NOT SUPPORT anyone who they think will get in the way of their sin. Had Cruz just simply said he would like to thank Jesus for the victory (like hundreds of athletes have done) and then just stuck to his original game plan of focusing on the conservative message, ignoring the buffoon Trump and the undercover GOPe fair haired boy, Rubio, he would be doing much better. He would have closed the gap with Trump in SC and maybe fared better in NV. Glenn Beck, while seeming to having keen insight to what's coming next geopolitically, is just like waking up and finding your favorite NFL team on the SI cover as the team to beat in the super bowl: the kiss of death. Trump is not a conservative. He is more Democrat than Republican BUT THAT IS PART OF HIS APPEAL. People believe he will go to Washington and put everything back to the way it was. Fat chance. The Progressive/Socialist/Marxist complex has been undermining this nation for over 100 years and we let them. Many in our family and previous generations voted for these haters of America and it's Constitution. They ran as wolves in sheep's clothing and now we stand on the precipice again, with the Republic as founded and intended in the balance. We do this every four years and every four years we see another brick in the strong foundation established by the founders, chiseled away by the short sightedness of the American citizen and the despicable lies of the Leftists who promise bread and games, with no care for the livelihood of the middle class, who they see as the epitome of the capitalism they hate, loathe and despise. The only thing Donald Trump is going to Washington for is to cash in on the system the Clinton's and Obama's have used to become part of the ruling elite. What a shock all these blind, misguided Trumplinskyites will get when their hero aligns himself with the Democrats in the House and Senate and not his own "party". There will be no wall, Muslims will flood into this country, your taxes will go up, and any hope of dismantling the parts of this Federal not enumerated in the Constitution will be gone, abortion mills will thrive, common decency will erode further, gays and lesbians will be let loose to openly indulge in their abnormal debauchery and this nation will be judged in the balances and found, not just wanting, but guilty of our own demise.
