So I guess we were likely friends for a few seconds before you read my previous post?

Relevant truth is a type of “propaganda” we will never abandon... sorry.

Reality is not a one dimensional or even two dimensional situation. Those who embrace this fact best will navigate it best.

Trump has a LONG HISTORY of supporting his own version of ObamaCare....I know it's confusing for Trump's supporters since they have to shape him into the candidate they want rather than the person he is.

Jimmy Carter: "I'd Choose Trump Over Cruz as 'He's Completely MALLEABLE."

I believe Donald is making an earnest effort to compile one with the best input that he can get at this particular time, and that has gone way past his old ideas even though some people don’t want to give him credit for that for whatever reasons (maybe it is their towering genius, I don’t know).

Those who cease from hooting and begin constructively participating will have the best chance of bringing a good outcome to Trump’s effort.

Maybe that is something we could look into. The trouble is that we don’t have any money to put into a HSA, which is what the church had gone to right before my husband became disabled. The idea was that they would offset the high deductible by putting money into an HSA. But now we just have that same high deductible, that the disability insurance company pays for, but no way to afford to put money into the HSA to cover the deductible.

Our situation is different than most though since we’re pretty much stuck with the income we have. That plan could be a good option for a lot of other people though.

Trump has personally invited shaping into his plans.

If you just stand there and hoot, one thing is sure. You won’t have a hand in it.

I think the question is what are you denying to yourself?

Do you agree with Trump that single payer would be the best?

It stands a far larger chance of producing something silly if the sane just stand there and mock at it.

Some people curse doors marked “Opportunity” because they have another sign saying “Walk in and work” rather than one saying “Knock for the genie who will give you just what you wished.”

UNDER CIRCUMSTANCES THAT DO NOT APPLY HERE, yes.

Now are you happy?

I mean aren’t you GLAD it was malleable enough not to look any more like what Trump saw in Scotland and Canada under different circumstances?

Malleable is wonderful, if the right persons use the mallets, so to speak.

Government came up with the social security system as just the camels nose under the tent. Now people think they should rely on government to pay for their insurance, college tuition, and whatever else the LIEberals use to buy votes.

The OPPORTUNITY you speak is to get the government out of the healthcare business....and by extension, out of the retirement business as well. Like car insurance, people should themselves be responsible for the choices they make in life. Those who make poor choices can pay for it themselves.

I am very sorry to hear of your difficult situation. The HSA was something that my previous employer set up for us years ago which now has a reserve of funds that are currently sufficient to cover expenses not covered by the Healthcare Ministry. The nice thing for us is that we are saving hundreds of dollars every month by not paying for an Obamacare plan and putting part of the savings into the HSA. Our HSA actually has a debit card that we use at the drug store and doctors office.

Well by all means feed that into the Trump hopper. You might not get a whole loaf, because he does have to keep a consensus going, but you might get half a loaf.

And like it or not we were intended by God to be in a brother’s keeper situation.

Churches yielded to the siren song to offload their work to Caesar. FDR pounded hard on that baleful theme and the result was our infinitely abusable and inefficient “Social Security.” Which other countries like Brazil have managed to privatize in their own incarnations of it. Open up the right doors and voila, the churches will do what churches do. It’s God, after all, who is the energy. But God doesn’t act like Godzilla... He waits for open doors.

I’ll take the candidate with the core, not the candidate who thinks Scotland and Canada’s healthcare system is something to be replicated here:

You are so bent on damning that you will continue to distort.

If you find someone who claims to have a fixed core since Methuselah, BEWARE! You probably have a hypocrite who is not learning.

Again, I'll remind you...

Government proves it screws up everything it touches and charity is best left to the church.
