That was NOT the context. Trump said that when talking about Carson’s stabbing someone in the belt buckle story. The accurate context is in post 51.

In his biography, Carson has written about finding God after one of his violent outbursts, and doing so while sitting alone for hours in a bathroom. Trump wasn’t buying it, and appeared to attack as “fools” and “stupid” voters who have, specifically Iowa voters:

So yes, it was the context in this instance. But Trump has called many people stupid more than once. So maybe you are thinking of another time. It is hard to kee count.
