It is a big lose for Ted Cruz.

I’m a supporter of both Trump and Cruz.

I lean toward Trump for the top spot because I feel he would be more likely to prevail in the general.

I want a Trump/Cruz ticket. Trump has the cash and the balls to take it to the dems and WIN!

Cruz has the brains and the knowledge to guide Trump once they are in office. [IMO, while both these men are brilliant Cruz is by a sizable margin the smarter of the two]

Go Trump!
Go Cruz!
Go Jeb! [and never, ever come back!]

I wholeheartedly agree.

I’d be perfectly happy voting for Ted Cruz for POTUS, but I’d be even more pleased to vote for a Trump/Cruz ticket, and again in four years, and four years after that for Cruz and his running mate.

“Cruz has the brains and the knowledge to guide Trump once they are in office.”

That goes both ways. Trump has other, more important qualities for a president, that would guide Cruz once they were in office. Brains and knowledge are good things, and there are plenty of those people. Having the ability to read people, negotiate, stand tough in spite pressure, say the right thing at the right time — DO something, not just think — are what we need now. Trump has those qualities. Cruz might be able to learn from Trump, although I’m starting to believe that his qualities are innate and can’t be taught.

Trump has a broader knowledge base than Cruz, having been successful in so many disciplines. Cruz is pretty much limited to law and government. Trump also has successes in law and government, but from the other side of the table, which would be beneficial. Trump has additional skills, in the real world, that Cruz lacks.

I also could support either guy for president against any liberal. Prefer trump in 2016 because — what you said — he has the cash and the balls to win.
