I saw that. Nasty.

But usually we get stories of wives’ money problems or marrying wife for money or affairs etc. Wife has history of depression/mental illness, drug abuse..

It will happen.

Trump’s New York Values speech/attack was as PC-driven as any he has whined about.

He is a hypocrite...

The XL Pipeline would be, in effect, a private business which provided a utility for "PUBLIC USE"

Not all that different than Trumps view of things 'for public use'.

It seems to come down to who is defining which things qualify.

I agree with you. It’s getting really old and I would prefer we stick to taking Hillary down. Instead we have WWE going on.

"Nobody likes him. Nobody in Congress likes him (Cruz). - Trump

Well, now, isn't that just the best recommendation a conservative running against "progressives" in both Parties can wish for?

If George Washington, James Madison, John Adams or Thomas Jefferson were running in 2016, with their abilities to see through the shallow counterfeit ideas of progressive politicians in Washington, D. C., does a serious thinker truly believe they would be "liked"?

I have been a big supporter of Trump but this trashing of Cruz is a huge turn off. I knew my two favorites (Trump and Cruz) would eventually turn on each other but Trump has gone down in my view with these comments regarding Cruz. Just might vote Cruz instead of Trump, I don’t know for sure yet.

this is very disturbing that a moderator would go after you like this. I’ve become very disenchanted with FR turning on conservatives to support a fake con man.

“House” I can see, but “Criminal Minds”?

It always seemed to me that this week the bad guy had to be more depraved than last week until you made it to infinite deviant.

I always liked the show and the characters. I started only watching the last 30 to 40 minutes until I would then take a short break while the bad guy prepared for his final twisted mindlessness. After a short break or a change of stations I come back for the arrest or to watch the bad guy get bumped off.

You obviously know House. This week the life threatening nightmare has to be more nightmarish than every one that ever came before.

Early on, and I believe it still to br true, that Cruz eagerly hoped to attract Trump's supporters (as well as Rand Psul's, Marco Rubio's, Ben Carson's, etc.) knowing he might gain some as these candidates fell by the wayside, while Trump's supporters weren't.

Cruz adamantly refused to be insulted by his various "outrageous," denounce, criticize, or name-call, as he media seethed calling Cruz an "opportunist" for doing so.

As time has gone on, Cruz has gained more and more attention and supporters, still without denouncing any of his fellow contestants, including Donald Trump.

Recently, I caught a comment by Trump, stating "soon he would have to go after Cruz." I guess I didn't take it too seriously having by this time watched Donald go out after Ben Carson in some pretty cheap and unsavory terms.

I have enjoyed watching Trump speak out, especially when he took on the party bosses over open borders, which I am firmly in favor of closing them as well as clamping down on further Muslim "refugees."

I had hoped that what Donald would do is to reach out to the supporters of his fellow candidates ultimately but am finding it more difficult to hold so of late. I've had to experience this kind of relegation of the worth of those, who didn't support you, as, "you'll get used to me as you have no where else to go," as happens so very often, then comes the bitter surprise that those very voters who felt a finger in their eye, found out the did have a choice, they could go shopping!

I have leaned toward Cruz with Trump as a second and acceptable candidate, should Cruz not make it, for many days and have been encouraged that the two seemed to accept to have been kindly toward one another, even if some gentle ribbing back and forth.

Now, I find Donald has turned some of his less gentle ribbing to insulting not only Cruz but his followers as well.

My question here is, does Donald and his supporters desire Cruz supporters and does he believe he can win the nomination without those who have leaned toward Cruz, like myself? Not every state is a winner take all and Cruz will get a good support of those votes not Trump. Trump will need Cruz supporters to get him the count he needs to win the primary. He will not get enough on his own to win it just as Mitt Romney didn't last time around. Having been a delegate to a few conventions, uncommitted votes may go to any candidate, not the one with the most delegates to that time. How does Trump plan to cross that divide.

I know Trump tosses out "brash" statements, seemingly to care little of how it effects others, As of this weekend I am less inclined to think of him as my second choice, given that he seems to feel inclined to refer to me and many others who have leaned toward Cruz, before the first primary vote is taken, as "nasty!"

Words do have consequences.

“Not as nasty as his followers.”

Ah yes, because Trump’s followers are mere innocent waifs so cruelly put upon by the rampant meanness of Cruz backers. Such victimhood.

“Donald Trump is 69 years old and his wife is 45. A lot of people I know think that’s kinda nasty. The dirty rich old man, cradle robber deal.”

Something kind of Hugh Hefner-ish about that.. were it not for the $$$, would Miss Melania be anywhere near Trump?
