Mark Levin ripped apart this leftwing piece of bullcrap which originated with the New York Times.
Not surprised to see Trump supporters trying to give it some traction.

âCruz wrote a personal check to his campaign for $1.4 million. Those funds came from a combination of his personal savings, selling some stock and taking a loan out against his assets. Because he took a loan out against his assets, that detail shouldâve been in the FEC form,â Catherine Frazier, the spokeswoman, told reporters in Dorchester. âWeâre reaching out to the FEC and asking them their recommendation on anything we need to do to update or amend that report.âSounds like a margin loan taken out against stock and bond holdings. Not exactly a big deal. Anybody with sufficient equity can do it, whether he trades with Fidelity or Schwab. Goldman probably charges a higher rate than Fidelity or Schwab.

One million in loans is over looked? That is a lot of $ to forget about. But if not illegal, or unethical, no big deal.

Can’t blame him for trying to hide Goldman Sachs loan.
It would not look good, being a man of the people and such.

Yeah how convenient. And you want to run our country? What about your principles and morals? Ethics? Anything? You are making it so easy to vote for Trump.

Should read:
Cruz: I shouldn't have lied to Texas voters and told them the $500,000 I added to the campaign coffers was "the last of my savings," when it was in fact from Goldman Sachs, my wife's employer, and Barack Obama's #1 corporate donor.
To: proust
Sounds like the money-laundering Clinton Foundation flunkies now hastening to correct multi-million dollar "errors" on prior income tax return reportings.
Oh, yeah....

Yup yup the old “inadvertent move” this sounds JUST like a typical Federal manager or SES when they have royally F’ed up.
Scumbag liars, avoid accountability at any cost.
the cost is human integrity, Teddy.

Did he forget to disclose the loan, or forget to disclose where it came from?
This is not a big deal. He could have got the loan from several different sources for roughly the same terms. It’s not like he was given the money and then turned around and gave Goldman Sachs a bunch of Federal money or cut a deal with them.

The guy took a third of his Life Savings to Run for the Senate when he was considered the underdog against an Establishment Candidate.
There was a time on FR he would be hailed as a Hero for putting his Money where his mouth is.
This wasn’t “Wall Street Money”, it was his Family’s Money.
As far as I’m concerned, he took a big chance to achieve serving in the Senate when the odds were stacked against him.
I would recommend he get a better Accountant to file his Financials though.
Just my $.02, your Mileage may vary.
