Well, we get the politicians we deserve, and what we deserve apparently is Ryan and McCain selling out their party for the likes of Pelosi and her party. So, we deserve McCain, which means we don't even deserve Trump.

Should we have a better president than Trump. Well in the first place that assumes that we know what kind of president Trump will actually be. But the second issue it assumes that a better candidate is running. Who is that? Jebbie, I presume is this GoPeer's "candidate" of choice. Run for President? Well, I don't even think Jebbie can run for coffee.

You could make an argument for Cruz, but he doesn't because I presume he likes Cruz no more than Trump.

I would add as a footnote that Esquire does not seem to maintain particularly high standards of discourse and allows the use of 4-letter words by those educated to know much better words. That this author resorts to them suggests that this defender of the GoPee status quo has no better argument than guttertalk for his positions.
