At this point, Santuckabee are staying in to relive their past Iowa glory. Once the actual voting happens and the reality of the fractional point they will receive settles in, they will at long last withdraw from the race.

Yep. I remember in 2012 when Rick Perry gave a very good speech on the middle-east to a Jewish group in NY. Santorum immediately attacked Perry claiming he didn't know anything about the Mideast compared to Santorum's experience in the Senate. Perry has had close ties to Israel since he was agriculture commissioner, been to Israel twice, and met with many Israeli leaders including Bibi. Santorum didn't bother to learn what Perry did or didn't know, didn't deal with what he said, just made a snarky statement out of the blue. He sounded like a jealous, petulant child.

Also, I have always believed he was called to the ministry but never answered the call .. but sought the political instead.

I think it is a big deal and this isn’t “Brother Love’s” first episode of venom politics, when he is out of the game, against his own party. Instead of realizing he needs to start supporting the likely nominees and showing enthusiasm, he goes all Arlen Spector on them.

Of course when Trump does worse, some think it’s the greatest thing.
Don’t understand why Santorum should seem to be participating with Trump and Huckabee with their surrogate defence questioning Cruz’s religiousity. When really it is the Cruz position issue on ethanol that they are actually going after.
If Santorum who has led the attack on amnesty since 2008 and this illegal Mexican invasion went after what is really going on. Attack and question the Mexican government policies towards permitting it and their reasons for doing so. Along with bringing to the fore Mexican demeaning 2nd class citizenship treatment of American retirees there. He would be rectifying a serious flaw in foreign policy. And deserve serious consideration during those lengthy caucus doings.
Alas like this he doesn’t.
