I copy and paste each 20-message page of the topic... into a Tex-Edit file..., then sort it by paragraph, resulting in all the lines beginning with message numbers grouped together.... It's a snap to edit out everything but the numbered lines, then two wildcard search and replace yields just the FReeper names. If I feel like it, I can then sort those alpha, but I'm not that OCD. ;')

Oh, thanks! I see how you approach it. As for the alphabetical sorting, I guess I am that OCD! It does make managing a big ping list easier, and to avoid double-pinging people.

The system actually handles that automatically, skipping duplicate names. It’s not generally thought about, I’m sure, but the Robinsons did think of it. :’)
