We already know there is no surge in new or changed registrations in Iowa and there is no news about it happening anywhere else that I'm aware of. In Iowa it will be basically the same 120,000 odd people voting in this primary as last time.

In Michigan we don't need to register for a party but you can't split your primary ballot meaning that any democrat voting for Trump must sacrifice all the rest of the democrat races to do so.

The folks who are “true believers” as Eric Hoffer deemed them will be there for Cruz.
