“So much for the old Republican edict that politics end at the water’s edge, especially in a moment of dire crisis.”

Is this author serious? It’s wrong to criticize 0bama’s foreign policy because he’s the U.S. President? 0bama is at war with Americans; 0bama is a totalitarian leftist, jihadi Satanist. 0bama. He has supported jihadis in Syria, Egypt, Libya and now he seeks to import hundreds of thousands of jihadi warriors directly into the U.S.

Trump isn’t engaging in hyperbole. It just seems like hyperbole because 0bama and the Leftists are absolutely delusional and insane.

I think Trump’s support runs deeper than most people think. I have an acquaintance who’s a liberal ex-hippie. She likes Trump. I think for her, safety is becoming a bigger concern. She’s seeing the world as a dangerous place. A couple of months ago, she suggested that we just bomb the heck out of the Middle East. She used to be “Miss Kumbaya”, so it was a shock coming from her. Anyway, I think people like her are perhaps more open to listening to and considering the ideas of Trump than someone like Cruz because even though he’s running as a Republican, he’s not a politican and they’re somewhat familiar with him.

.
Most of Trump’s support is coming from the left.

The unions have vowed not to fight him.

The unions will only fight Cruz. That is what their written internal communications all say.

Absolutely correct.

If he wins it will be as a Democrat, and I would not be surprised to see him switch back soon.

Did you read the article? It’s actually very supportive of Trump precisely because he breaks rules like these.

Wrong!
The MSM have held back and will not attack him. They will continue to spend gobs of money to keep Trump afloat as long as they can.

Remember his free infomercial at the end of the debate?

They’re keeping him in the race.

That is because Donald Trump — the great salesman-statesman — not only intimately understands the product he is selling (himself), he also has a deeply instinctual understanding of his customer (voters). He understands what they want, how they think and how to reach them.

Bingo.

Liberal Clown? Wow! That is pretty harsh.
Donald Trump is for the most part damn near everything I hate in a politician. A blustery braggart from New York, who makes outrageous ad hominem attacks against his rivals.
But I really do not see him as liberal clown. In fact, I could see him as President of the United States.
I will concede that Trump is no Ronald Reagan, but by God, he is a fighter.
He is also not my first choice, but he could be if my guy stumbles.
No, he is not a Liberal Clown.

Trump has a 40 year history in the public eye, the primaries are the time to vet it. There is zero chance this liberal clown can win the general election.

What part of:

"You can say what you want, but if they had guns - if our people had guns, if they were allowed to carry - it would have been a much, much different situation," Mr. Trump told a crowd of fans during a political rally in Texas one day after the massacre.

...do you think is clownish or liberal?

Or is that just your personal opinion of an armed population?
