When Trump first announced I thought it was great, entertaining.
As time goes by I am taking him MUCH more seriously.
This next year should be fun.
I did not jump on the Trump bandwagon until August. I considered all the candidates carefully. As a long-time FReeper, I have personally witnessed how the GOPe will do anything to destroy conservatives in the Republican party for years. Donald Trump is the only candidate who can destroy the GOPe. No other candidate can do that, no matter how well meaning they are.
As did I, GE. He gave hope. Even though he didn’t succeed the first time round, he learned lessons, spoke to candidates of all types (winning and losing), a reality show which ‘branded’ him. And lessons learned, he attempted once again. Leary at the first suggestion and afraid it to be a waste of time (something WTP do not have), but willing to take a chance on him What did we have standing before Trump? Nothing but misery, destruction, poverty, and death. He is TRUMP!
