I always suspected the secretary bit was a lie. Very few companies promote from the typing pool. And her father was the dean of Duke? Another elitist!
another troll posting at lunch time!
She never said she was promoted from the typing pool. Does her father being the dean of Duke prevent her from being a secretary, then later a CEO? And, of what value is your elitist bigotry crap? Do you feel the Bern? You yap just like him.
A short quiz for dullards:
1) Was she a secretary? yes indeed
2) Did she later become a CEO? absolutely
Then she ACTUALLY went from secretary to CEO.
See, the way this works is like driving a car. If you are at point A, and eventually arrive at point B, then you drove from point A to point B even if you drove through many other points in between (a mathematical necessity).
A wonderful rule of thumb - begin by assuming that anything published by HuffPo is a lying pile of snot-wad. This will always bring you much closer to truth than any other starting position.
Maybe you never worked for a larger company before so you have the benefit of doubt...
A job in the typing pool is an entry level job, bottom rung of the corporate ladder...
The good and ambitious employees move up from that position to higher levels...
I know my post seems condescending in a way, but if you actually think Fornia went from the a entry level job in the typing pool to CEO because her father is dean of an Ivy league school...you deserve it..
