Actually, while I do not care for the word, it is an accurate reflection of the GOP’s attitude to its core constituents. They need conservatives who will vote the lesser evil because they are afraid to try and sell an actual conservative - although “it works every time it’s tried”, as Rush says.

Well, now we truly understand that the reason they won’t run conservatives is because they have no intention of running conservatives, and they never will. The repugs (GOPe) have got to be destroyed.
Like with the ‘teabagging’ these people go directly to an arcane, thoroughly disgusting interpretation of a word that most of the people who have used it are probably unaware of. Says more about them than the word, or the people that have used it.
The way I see it, it’s getting to the point where one side or the other is going to have to be herded into camps. I’d rather it not be me.
