This more resembles and earthquake than anything else.
Sudden, out of nowhere and inflicting great damage.

Trump is a big subject here in Florida. He is gaining big time support among non mexican Hispanics...like my family. Im not 100% sold on Trump and question his political leanings. But the GOPe is held in such contempt Im sure Trump will waste Bush and Rubio here. Cruz is toast too. The others are just hanging on for the final fall.

Parts of Florida are half under water simply as a geographical matter. That does not mean they want a wishy-washy half under water candidate. Bush and Rubio are too watered down on some key issues. Floridians are probably just happy to see someone who says what he means and sticks by it.

It is going to be incredibly boring to hear Rove and Co. chant “Reagan was down 23 points at this point in the 1980 race” for his boy Jebby. My prediction is that he ultimately drops out when he can’t bust 25% approval. Of course we’ll have to hear him blather his mouth off between now and then, talkin’ bout love and decorum and such. Allow me to yawn in his direction, in advance.
If I had $50K to flat out burn, I’d put a 1/4 page ad in the NY Times with the only text: “Jeb Bush will produce the worst Republican defeat in 2 generations.” Except then, they’d get my money and that would be intolerable.

Calm down Jebulon, your collapse in public standing is "an act of love" - -

Bush has become too emotional. You expect that from the left but not from the right. Conservatives are suppose to be principled and strong, full of logic and reason, purpose and direction. Too many have lost their way. They went from “gentler and kinder” to “compassionate” to squishy.

Trump represents simplistic competency.
Almost everyone knows he’s a tough negotiator.
A simple to understand skill.
Low information and minority voters respect this. Hence Trump is thrown over the top.
Other political rhetoric is hard to follow, understand nuance, involves making the the opponent look bad more important than candidate looking good.
Trump transcends that.

George H. Bush on his very worst day was never as boring as this Bush. Unbelievable. He reminds me of DeBlasio in his boring, can’t-be-bothered attitude.
