I notice that those who claim McCain is a hero, never give specifics as to why. Except that he was a prisoner, as if nobody else ever was.

I also notice that those who say he is not a hero, give specifics as to why. Details of when he was in captivity as well as while on active duty.

Also examine the character of those trying to defend McCain vs. the character of those who know different.

If Audie Murphy (imho, a true Hero) had pulled half of the crap McCain has pulled since his time in the military, people would spit after they said his name.

McCain might have been a hero right after Vietnam, but his actions since have erased that slate as far as that getting him any good will from me.
