Trump is not a Trojan Horse because he won't play second fiddle to anyone.
As a former New Yorker, I have watched Trump for over 35 years. Trump is a classic loud mouth, brash, in your face, what-you-see-is-what-you-get New Yorker. Believe me, Trump is not a Trojan Horse.
Trump doesn't join clubs, he builds them.

Limbaugh has hinted on past shows that the "rich" that he associates with are scared of what Obama might do to their wealth. This disturbs me.I'm scared that the "rich" are scared. If they were really "rich and powerful" leaders of their industries (we used to call them "___ barons"), I'd expect an organized pushback against the confiscation of their wealth, leading to the rejection of Obama. If they are simply "rich" trust-fund babies, then maybe they should be scared because they don't have a power-base behind their wealth to deliver on their wishes.
Given that we haven't seen the former, I'm guessing that we're stuck with the latter.
Maybe the former has finally arrived?

People were unhappy with Bush, so they elected Obama, who promised "Hope and Change", who gave them plenty, just not the hope and change they were looking for.
So people started the Taxed Enough Already or TEA Party, and rallied around the country to finally get the hope and change they wanted. THAT was attacked incessantly by the media and democrats, and Obama used every race baiter trick in his book, first with Professor Gates and the "Cambridge police acting stupidly" to Trayvon Martin, who Obama opined "could be his son". Every criticism of Obama led to charges of Racism.
Then the election of 2012 was full of fraud, while unknowingly to us the IRS used its muscle to put a damper on groups who would have--had they been allowed to form--expose the corruption and lies. As Harry Reid later said about these clearly illegal tricks, "Hey, who won 2012?" The ends justify the means to corrupt politicians.
The Supremes called Obamacare ok because it was a "tax", even though the democrat's propaganda machine and Gruber fought that definition tooth and nail...
So we went into the 2014 elections MAD AS HELL--we weren't going to take it anymore! We gave McConnell and Boehner their Republican majority and what did they do with it?
The refused to fight Obamacare like they said they would. They refused to fight Executive Action Amnesty like they campaigned against. They GAVE us Obamatrade--even though the conservatives were against it, they even fought to override their own party's opposition!
Yeah, Trump represents something, alright. The exhausted, frustrated NORMAL American conservative who wants their country back, their jobs back and their party to GROW A PAIR!
I think this Trump phenomenon is a reaction to Boehner and McConnell as much as to Obama...

Trump’s name has been spoken out Big Time. It is even written in giant letters on buildings.
No wonder Trump is vocal. He is living up to his name.
This statement about a guy who amassed ten billion dollars? Yeah, he's just stupid and lucky. Nothing planned or foreseen...all just dumb luck and big mouth. I think some pundits are in for a very big surprise. He isn't perfect, but he represents more of what I believe than any of the others. I'm done voting for professional politicians. That simply has not worked. Ben Carson? Carley? The Donald? You bet!
Two weeks ago I thought similarly.
But consider if Trump should fall out, then everything he has mustered will fall with him. His enemies will declare victory.

Trump is giving Americans a reality check - the bottom line on America. Politicians and corporate Americans have sold us out. He is catching on to the plight of Christians too.
Pray on his behalf. Trump is in need of Divine protection and the wise counsel of Christian leaders.

He reminds me of Rudy Giuliani. They both love America in a New York sort-of way.

Fox will have 4 panelists bashing him. They can't find anybody to say something positive.
What do the average New Yorkers think of the Donald? Or maybe the multifaceted sections view him ?
He's loud, brash, obnoxious, blunt, rich, outspoken, what-you-see-is-what-you-get...an original New Yawker (the kind I really like and admire).
I like him because of those qualities.
I don't know if he really understands economics at the macro level. I don't really know what kind of president he would be (of course, anything would be better than Obama and Hillary).
What I like at the present time is that he is kicking the hornets' nest and getting folks excited. I think he'll probably flame out during the debates and Cruz will move into the lead.
But in the meantime, ain't it fun.;-)
Have you read any of his books? THE ART OF THE DEAL is used as required reading in many business classes. It lays out the fundamental principles of negotiation...something the O administration should have read before speaking to IRAN
In all his bluntness, Trump is not all that articulate. His plain-spokenness is, of course, very attractive to grass roots America, but I think he will have difficulty in debate when eloquence and careful choice of wording becomes important.
Anyone remember the roasting that the g0lfer direct at Donald a few years back at the Correspondent’s Dinner?
All of what’s going on right now gives me such great joy. :)
For all his over the top gaudiness, he a real common sense, go-getter kind of guy.
BTW, he's not a drinker or a partier. He's a hard working family man.
People I know in New York (mostly staid Park Ave types) think the Trump name is synonymous with tackiness. But most folks like him in spite of that.
